We're looking for a Head of Public Engagement to lead our Public Engagement team, sitting within our Communications & Fundraising directorate. In this strategic leadership role, you'll use your vision and creativity to lead, shape and deliver bold, inclusive public engagement that helps us grow audience reach, impact and activation at scale. You'll set a multi year strategy and lead innovative programmes that support diversity, creativity and collaboration. As this is a national role, there is flexibility on your contractual place of work. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. What you'll be doing As an expert in public engagement, you'll influence senior stakeholders and represent our work nationally. You'll lead our public engagement strategy, developing and delivering a long term approach to growing audience reach and participation. A key part of your role will be mobilising people, moving them from passive supporters to active participants who feel connected to our cause. Focusing on reaching underserved audiences, you'll identify those least engaged and design interventions that remove barriers and create meaningful connections with nature and culture. We're looking for a Head of Major Donors, a new role to lead our Major Donors team to grow our fundraising and support the delivery of our ambitious People & Nature thriving strategic goals. We have a stable portfolio of individual Major Donors and Trusts & Foundations. We also know significant income growth is possible from our core and new audiences. You'll build and implement an ambitious plan for growing income from major donors and charitable trusts, with capacity to give between £25k-£1m and lead a newly established major donor team of around 5 relationship managers. Working with the Head of Major Gifts and Grants, you will develop and implement joined up acquisition plans and exceptional supporter experiences, in close collaboration with the Heads of Principle Giving and Individual Giving. You will build on the successes of your team, coaching and empowering them to deliver growth in income.
