Job Title: Senior Buyer Location: Gaydon Warwickshire Rate: 38.27ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or 28.50ph PAYE Employment Type:Contract (6 month maternity cover) Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week To join the Global Commercial Services team within Indirect Procurement as the Senior Buyer for Retail on a 6-month contract covering parental leave. The Buyer will have procurement category responsibility for the look & feel of the Retail environment working closely with the Retail Operations team supporting how customers interact with our vehicles in retailers. The customer is on an exciting project to deliver modern luxury across our global retailer network as part of Project Arch. This involves sourcing signage, furniture, lighting, joinery, etc to support our retailer network moving to new retail corporate identity. The role is for overall responsibility and leadership for all global and relevant local sourcing including project delivery, benchmarkibg costs, contract management, supplier relationship management activities and strategic development with a focus on sustainability to support the look and feel of our retail environment Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Essential: A Buyer with 3 years+ experience of buying goods Experience of working with colleagues across the globe with clear communication skills Commercial Awareness and Negotiation skills Understand category management principles Relationship management - internal and external Flexibility and agility to be able to adjust to changing business needs Previous experience in Retail Procurement is preferred. Job Title: Durability & Robustness Programme Leader Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire Rate: 33.88ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or 25.26ph PAYE Employment Type: Contract (31.2.26) Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week Reference: J(phone number removed) Job Description: Duties: This role is within the Durability & Robustness attribute which is part of the wider Driven Attribute Integration organisation of our client. The Programme leader role is to ensure all customer expectations for Durability & Robustness are met with appropriate target setting, design development and completion of whole vehicle verification activities using both virtual and physical test methods. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Support delivery of all Attribute Requirement Targets by Gateway. Support the Programme Attribute Team to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved. Detailed strategy and delivery planning for the attribute covering CAE, Road Load Data, Vehicle and System rig tests and driven vehicle DV activities. Working with system and component areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements in support of overall vehicle level targets. Work with component engineers and suppliers as required to drive resolution of engineering issues. Deliver technical recommendations and test and issue status reports. Work on tasks to ensure all lessons learnt from the current vehicle are captured and fed back to the Programme Attribute Team and progressed as necessary. Skills: Knowledge/experience of engineering test activities. Knowledge/experience of automotive technologies or systems. Project Management experience. Education: Required: Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies. Understanding of Durability & Strength principles. Project management of complex engineering test activities. Experience of problem solving including application of Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DoE etc. Understanding of Systems engineering principles and delivery Microsoft package elements Power Point and Excel. Desirable: Knowledge/Experience of AGILE working principles. Working knowledge CAD visualisation systems (e.g. 3Dx, TeamCentre etc.). Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross functional experience. Relevant degree or equivalent. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Human Factors Ergonomics team to deliver our customer requirements for our future vehicles. This role is ideally suited to a skilled individual with a background in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Anthropometrics, Product Design or Design Engineering. Key duties include, but not limited to: Lead development of Human Factors requirements, in order to deliver the best customer experience. This will include collaboration with key stakeholders around the business including Engineering, Design, Programme, Commercial and many more Lead Human Factors input into the development of our future vehicles and brands - evoking empathy for the impact to the Human Factors Attribute of vehicle development decisions using innovative and visual communication methods. Lead the timely completion of Human Factors assessments &/or gateway testing, to aid in issue resolution. Support collaboration with colleagues to resolve ergonomic related issues on our vehicles using customer data and Human Factors science to drive discussions. Analyse customer feedback relating to ergonomics and use it to support requirement development and issue resolution. Skills: Essential: Proven ability to work in a demanding environment and combine interpersonal skills with technical decision-making. Ability to analyse technical data and customer feedback to support programme discussions & Ergonomics requirement development. A knowledge of human physiology, anatomy or anthropometrics. A good communicator with the ability to explain complex ideas to others. Desirable: CAD experience (e.g. CATIA / 3D Experience). Familiarity with Agile Methodology implementation and using JIRA Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and working with teams across an organisation. Resilient and enthusiastic, an individual able to deliver results under pressure. Education: Experience in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Anthropometrics, User-Centred Design, Product Design, User Experience Design or a related field, educated to degree level.
