The role: We are hiring for a motivated, innovative, and driven Electrician (Electrical Engineer) to join our Domestic division. You will be part of a journey to re-think how heat pumps and batteries are delivered and installed to increase the affordability of renewable tech for customers and drive growth in the business. You will primarily be responsible for installing heat pumps, batteries and solar panels (alongside a heating engineer), though you will also be part of establishing processes, challenging conventional approaches, and teaching others best practices over time. Your work will include: Survey homesensuring the right information is captured to quote and deliver our solutions. Electrical Installation of Heat Pumps, Batteries and Solar PV. Maintain and troubleshoot systems, performing electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on installed heat pumps, batteries, solar panels and and other electrical systems to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operation. Develop documentation, maintaining accurate records of installations, maintenance work, and inspections, ensuring all documentation is compliant with UK standards and internal procedures. Communicate with customers, establishing a friendly and trusted relationship, addressing any electrical concerns homeowners have, representing the Rendesco brand and ensuring positive customer satisfaction. About you: Youll have solid experience as a qualified Electrician in domestic settings, and an excellent understanding of current regulations. Youll have a full UK driving licence. The role Rendesco is looking to hire a motivated, energetic, and like-minded Installation Supervisor to support the engineering team in a period of significant growth. The Installation Supervisor will oversee the on-site delivery of a pioneering heat network, including civil works, pipelaying (800mm to 40mm), plantroom structures, mechanical and electrical fit-outs, and HIU unit installations. This hands-on role ensures high-quality delivery and offers a long-term opportunity in a multi-phase development. This role combines hands-on supervision of installation teams with responsibility for quality assurance and project coordination. Your work will include: Supervision & Coordination:Lead installation engineer teams on 4th & 5th Generation Heat Networks, including pump rooms, plant rooms, energy centres, and residential properties. Technical Oversight:Ensure correct installation of Heat Interface Units (HIUs), pipefitting, and large-scale pipework (fusion welding, butt welding, steel, ductile iron 400800mm). QA/QC (SimPRO):Take ownership of inspections, documentation, certificates, and reports, ensuring compliance with industry, Rendesco, and customer standards. Provide feedback to subcontractors and engineering teams. Project Interface:Attend contractor and customer meetings, manage stakeholders, report on project progress and variations, and oversee on-site Health & Safety. Problem Solving:Diagnose and resolve operational issues within heat pump systems. Commissioning Support:Oversee handover from installation teams to commissioning engineers, ensuring readiness for system commissioning. About you Industry Experience:Demonstrated success in renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors, with insight into sustainable andenergy-efficient practices.Ideally with a proven professional background in plumbing and/or pipefitting, with strong practical skills in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting water and heating systems. Technical Leadership:Ability to guide and oversee Installation Engineers, ensuring innovative, efficient, and high-quality solutions. Inspection & Testing:Experience producing inspection reports for equipment and installations, ideally within renewable energy or district heating projects. Hydraulic Systems Knowledge:Strong technical understanding of flow and pressure principles to design, install, and maintain safe, efficient systems. Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of UK Building Regulations (Part G) and other hot water system standards, ensuring safe and compliant installations.
