You will be working as a 2-man team with a Data Cabler. Once the power side of the job is completed and tested (minor works test) you will be assisting the Data Cabler to complete the installation. We can either take a 1-man Electrician and pair you up, or, if you are an experienced data cabler as well, offer a 2-man rate and you provide a mate. The Electrician rate per night is £300. Data Cabling Engineer - 2-man Team, nights IPAF and ECS Looking for 2-man Data Cabling team with own tools and vehicle to undertake a project over night to install new copper and fibre data cabling into retail stores across the South of England. The role then involves replacing a network switch and configuration of the device via a remote helpdesk. Applicants for this role must be happy to work nights. The project is one store per week, starts Sunday night and runs for 3-5 days per week depending on the size of the store and complexity of cabling. Applicants need an ECS (or CSCS) card and a valid IPAF ticket. The rate is up to £600 per team per night, this is the total for a 2-man team (not per man). Must be flexible to travel. If the site is over 2-hours from home, hotels and overnight expenses are paid.
