Procurement Specialist Our client is seeking a highly driven Procurement Specialist to play a critical role in supporting new product introduction (NPI) and new product development (NPD) initiatives. This position sits at the intersection of procurement, engineering, and supply chain, ensuring that new products are launched on time, within budget, and with robust supplier strategies in place. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement activities for new product introduction (NPI) and new product development (NPD) projects Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers aligned with project timelines and cost targets Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiation Manage RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations Ensure supplier readiness for production, including capacity, quality, and compliance Mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans Track and report procurement milestones to support project delivery Requirements Proven experience in procurement within NPI/NPD environments Strong understanding of supply chain, sourcing strategies, and supplier management Experience working with cross-functional product development teams Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools Desirable Skills Experience in electronics, manufacturing Knowledge of cost modeling and value engineering Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide. Role: Assembly Operative Rate: 13.95 p/h + holiday's (33 days) (rate equivalent to 27,200) Site :- Stonehouse, GL10 Hours: - 7am - 3pm OR 8am-4pm Monday to Friday (overtime paid at overtime rates) Duration:- 12 month rolling contract An additional quarterly bonus of 150 is paid for full attendance. ( 600 annually) Due to an increase in workload our client is seeking 2 Assembler's to join their friendly team based in Stonehouse. Assembly Operative: The work will typically be done manually or by using light hand tools. Duties include: Correct use of machinery and equipment on the shop floor Ability to read diagrams and instructions for assembly of products, systems, and panels. Conduct all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final product. The Shipping Administrator duties will include: Raising & checking of delivery notes Generating required packing documents and shipping labels for dispatch department Creating Invoices Answering emails in a polite and timely manner Liaising with the factory for orders that are due / overdue Creating legalised shipping documents for customs Liaising with external transport companies daily Required skillset of the Administrator: Able to work to deadlines Good administrational skills Effective verbal / written communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to multi-task Microsoft Office knowledge Ensure daily, weekly, monthly targets are achieved. Rate: 20.76p/h + holidays PAYE - OR 27.10 per hour LTD Duration: 6 months, subject to extension Residency: UK The Role: Our client is seeking experienced Panel Wireman to support ongoing requirements based on their site in St Neots. The Panel Wireman's role will include; Working from engineering drawings to build DCS cabinets, assembly control panels with components/trunking (Rittal cabinet experience beneficial) Crimping, terminating and looming work Competent use of Hand tools.
