Location Esher Salary Competitive salary plus a generous benefits package Application Deadline Sunday, August 31, 2025 Job Summary To provide financial planning services to new and existing clients of Killik & Co and to take an active role in business development activities for the firm. Key Accountabilities Deliver technically excellent financial planning advice to clients using Killik & Co Wealth Planning processes Targeting the acquisition of new clients for the Firm through Business Development activities; pro-actively representing the business and taking the initiative to meet new potential clients Proactively working with the Investment Managers to identify new Wealth Planning opportunities for existing clients Actively refer clients and prospects to other services and specialisms offered by Killik & Co Service clients on an ongoing basis, conducting annual reviews and ensuring that the client remains on track to achieve their objectives Conduct the above in a compliant manner in line with the rules set out by the firm and the regulator Work effectively with other members of the team (Paraplanners and Product Liaison) to work as efficiently as possible, delivering an outstanding client service and providing learning opportunities for junior members of the team Additional responsibility for one of the following areas in agreement with line manager subject to business/team requirements: Technical Areas Oversee CPD for the team in this area Provide regular legislative and regulatory updates on the area Produce proposals on how to adjust process for any changes, if appropriate Produce and keep up to date collateral on this topic Attend forums on behalf of Killik & Co to ensure up to date knowledge Business Development Provide internal training or coaching on Business Development Champion Killik Wealth Planning both internally within the wider business and externally to other third parties Develop a network of professional advisers to refer business between and obtain reciprocal work Compliance/Supervision Continually review up to date legislation and provide team with updates, as appropriate Provide coaching to other advisers on complaints or compliance/certification issues Participation in internal compliance or professional third-party technical forum(s) Assist Management with undertaking of Certification reviews Key Competencies Getting Things Done; Delivers on agreed objectives promptly; prioritises workload; remains professional under pressure.
