Welder Fabricator Location: Kemsley, Sittingbourne, Kent Job Type: Full-time Hours: Monday to Friday Salary: Competitive, depending on experience drivers licence : Due to attending different site About the Role We are looking for an experienced and reliable Welder Fabricator to join our team at our busy industrial site in Kemsley, Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Welder Fabricator who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality fabrication and welding work. You will be working as part of the industrial team, carrying out welding, fabrication, repairs and maintenance across a range of equipment, structures and components. Key Responsibilities Carry out MIG/MAG welding and fabrication work Fabricate and repair steel components and structures Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and measurements Carry out welding repairs and modifications to industrial equipment Cut, shape and prepare materials for fabrication Use workshop machinery and hand tools safely and effectively Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the required quality standards Identify faults, damage and areas requiring repair Work closely with the wider industrial and maintenance teams Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment Follow all site health & safety procedures and risk assessments Complete work to agreed deadlines and required standards What We're Looking For The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience working as a Welder Fabricator Strong MIG/MAG welding skills Experience working with mild steel and other metals Good fabrication and metalworking skills Ability to read basic technical drawings Good understanding of workshop and industrial safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team A practical, problem-solving approach Good attention to detail Reliable and hardworking attitude Welding/Fabrication qualifications are desirable but relevant hands-on experience will also be considered . Waste & Recycling Operations Coordinator Our client is looking for an organised, proactive and confident Waste & Recycling Operations Coordinator to join the team at our Crayford, Kent site. This is a varied role combining administration, operational coordination, customer and council liaison, and support for the industrial team. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and operational teams to ensure the day-to-day running of the waste and recycling operation is well organised, accurately documented and communicated effectively. The successful candidate will be comfortable dealing with different stakeholders, including local authorities, customers, suppliers and operational staff, and will be confident attending meetings and following up actions. Key Responsibilities Operations & Team Support Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager. Support the Industrial Team with the coordination of daily activities. Act as a key point of contact between the office, management and operational teams. Help monitor workloads, schedules, collections and operational requirements. Communicate operational changes and requirements clearly to the relevant teams. Assist with resolving day-to-day operational issues and escalate matters to the Operations Manager when required. Monitor outstanding actions and ensure they are followed up. Council & Stakeholder Liaison Attend council and local authority meetings as required.Build and maintain professional relationships with council representatives and other external stakeholders.Prepare information, reports and updates for meetings.Take notes/actions from meetings and ensure agreed actions are followed through.Respond to enquiries professionally and ensure information is passed to the appropriate member of the team.Support the Operations Manager with council contracts and service requirements. About You We are looking for someone who is organised, confident and commercially aware, with the ability to work across both administration and operations. You will ideally have experience within waste management, recycling, logistics, transport, industrial services, facilities management or a similar operational environment. Essential Skills & Experience Previous experience in an administration, coordination or operational support role. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Confident dealing with customers, councils and external stakeholders. Good attention to detail and accuracy.
