As a Purchase Ledger clerk you ll be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring the purchase ledger is kept accurate and up to date. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced finance environment. Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities: Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and expenses accurately and promptly Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies Prepare payment runs and ensure payments are made to agreed terms Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledger records Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries Assist with month-end processes as required Purchase Ledger Clerk Experience Required: Previous experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable or similar finance role Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel High level of accuracy and attention to detail Good communication and organisational skills Experience working with accounting software such as Sage What s on Offer?
