I am currently recruiting on behalf of a small sized housing developer based in Southampton, Hampshire. They are now seeking a permanent Quality Control Inspector to join the business on a permanent basis. Their sites operate in and around Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex areas. They are a mix between private builds and HA houses and flats. Salary on offer ranging between 45k p/a - 46,500 p/a DOE. Your day-to-day responsibilities include: undertaking key stage inspections on a new build home, prepare and issue quality control reports using I-Auditor inspection platform and follow these reports to conclusion. Need photographic evidence attached to the reports, distribution of the reports to each stake holder, follow up reports and ensure closed down, maintenance of records, reporting directly to the QC Manager, offer advice on improvements, prep plot folders, liaise with sub-contractors and site management teams to iron out defects. Must be able to drive, must have prior construction or quality control experience within new build housing, must be detail orientated and capable of multitasking. Looking for somebody who holds a reliable work attendance, have a strong understanding of building materials, methods and general construction principals. ONC in construction or an NVQ Level 4 as a minimum requirement and ideally a CSCS card or equivalent in health and safety awareness on construction sites. FBR Recruitment is looking for a 3x General Labourers to work on a construction site in Winchester, Hampshire. Start 18th of June. 3 weeks work but possibly up to 10 weeks Applicants must have a valid CSCS Card, checkable reference and have previous experience. Looking for someone who can think on there feet and confident in looking after several projects, ranging from 5/10k on the smaller projects, then reaching 20k above for the large projects. An exciting role has come to fruition for a Hampshire based contractor seeking a full time Tekla Designer. You will need to ideally have: • A good track record of steel design & steel connection details. • Experience of producing architectural metalwork s and structural steel s fabrication drawings using Tekla is essential. • Must be able to read and interpret Engineer s and Architect s drawings, understand and deliver the information from Structural Steel specification into the fabrication drawing. • Ability to liaise competently with Engineers & Architects and manage the flow of technical information on the project is essential. • Ability to work as a team to ensure every project is a success. Works will involve co-ordination with Commercial, Project, Production and Site departments. • Ability to work from site measurements and produce fabrication drawings from those measurements, also to manage a number of projects at any given time by prioritising projects based on site dates and production needs and be keen to get the job done even if it requires overtime to complete the work. • Knowledge of current drawing practice and standards related to 3D Model build, connections detailing and fabrication drawings is essential. • Able to work to company s procedure and ensure the flow of information and document controlling is maintained to high level. Role/Responsibilities: • Track correspondence with Client s Structural Engineer. • Keep track of all the variation and maintain the variation record sheets with supporting evidence and data for the Commercial team to access. • Maintain organised project design folders with all revisions clearly labelled to show the current issues. This role requires a Tekla Designer to be based within 1 hour from the Fareham region.

Duties: (To asist with) Prepare and submit valuations. Certify subcontract/supplier payments. Place subcontract orders. Prepare Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and accruals. Place material orders. Attend weekly internal coordination meetings. Prepare and issue monthly contractor reports. Create, manage and review construction programme. Collate RFIs and CSIs. Maintain health and safety standards. Review and obtain Temporary Works designs. Provide input to the weekly labour meeting.
