Duties; To carry out estimates / tender submissions to all enquiries and produce competitively priced tenders taking account of properly researched costs and contingencies. Ensuring quotes are turned around in a timely fashion and we meet all promised return dates. Manage visits to survey works requirements on site. Carry out a Tender Adjudication with at least one director before any tender is submitted. Estimating; Work alongside the Lead Estimator to ensure a complete tender return. Process enquiries from £150,000 to over £6 million and ensure these are returned on time and at the right price. Visits potential clients, survey work and produce priced schedules so that clear concise documents are available once we win the work. Obtain prices from suppliers and sub-contractors. Sales and Marketing; Support the company in generating new business. Work with contracts managers and Directors to ensure steady flow of work requiring pricing. Chase up and monitor leads.
