JOB PURPOSE The Revit Technician & BIM Coordinator will support the delivery of high-quality building services engineering solutions by assisting in the production of coordinated BIM models and technical outputs from concept through to construction. This role is suited to someone with initial Revit or BIM experience looking to develop within a collaborative consultancy environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The role involves supporting the development of 3D Revit models for building services and assisting in the production of technical drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, details, and schematics. The individual will ensure models are accurate, aligned with project requirements, and maintained throughout the design process. They will work closely with engineers and designers across multiple projects, assisting with model coordination alongside architectural and structural teams, attending coordination meetings where required, and supporting timely and accurate delivery of technical information, including basic clash detection. The position also includes assisting with visual outputs such as renders and model views for presentations, and supporting communication of design concepts to project teams and clients. The successful candidate will support BIM processes by helping maintain models in line with BIM Execution Plans, contributing to modelling standards, and developing an understanding of BIM workflows and coordination practices. Ongoing learning is key, with the opportunity to develop skills in Revit, BIM, and digital engineering tools while gaining experience through project work and mentoring. REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS Candidates should hold a relevant qualification in engineering, building services, architectural technology, construction, or a related field, with some experience or training in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM. Exposure to Dynamo is desirable. A solid understanding of technical drawings, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to manage workload effectively within a team are essential, along with a proactive approach to learning.
