Site Agent - Civil Engineering Project Position: Site Agent Location: East Anglia Project Type: Civil Engineering (Roads / Bridges / Infrastructure / Utilities) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Agent to join our team on a major civil engineering project. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Delivering civil engineering works involving roads, bridges, infrastructure and utilities Supporting commercial team and have awareness of NEC Form of contract Oversee daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards Manage project schedules and monitor progress against programme Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports Control project costs, including labour, materials, and plant Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities Resolve technical and operational issues on site Ensure all works are completed in accordance with design specifications and contractual requirements Requirements Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Engineer on civil engineering projects Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (or relevant contract forms) Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities CSCS/SMSTS certification (or equivalent) Desirable Skills Experience in highways, drainage, earthworks, or reinforced concrete structures Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) Commercial awareness and cost control experience For more information please apply and contact Charlie Read at TLG Infrastructure.
