The site features cricket and football pitches, tennis courts (both tarmac and artificial grass), and an activity area used by younger pupils. Under the supervision of the Head Groundsperson , you will help ensure that all playing surfaces and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest standards. This is a hands-on, rewarding role for someone who enjoys outdoor work, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in creating safe, high-quality sports and recreation spaces. Key Responsibilities As part of the grounds team, your duties will include: Performing general grounds maintenance: mowing, strimming, hedge trimming, and weeding. Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays on a rota basis. A relevant qualification in horticulture or groundskeeping (e.g., NVQ Level 2) and PA1/PA6 spraying certification would be advantageous but not essential.
