We are looking for a reliable and hardworking waste collection assistant,in this role you will support the safe and efficient collection of residential and commercial waste, helping keep our community clean and well-maintained. Key responsibilities Assist with the collection of households, commercial and recycling waste along assinged routes. Load bins, bags and bulk waste onto collection vehichles safely and efficiently Work closely with the driver and crew to ensure timely completion of daily routes Follow all health, safety and environmental guidelines Provide friendly and respectful service to members of the public Report any issues, hazards, or vehichle concerns to the supervisor Requirements Good level of physical fitness; ability to lift and load items Ability to work in all weather conditions Reliable and safety conscious Strong teamwork and communication skills

We are looking for somome to work as part of the green team in maintaining parks, green spaces and horticultural features to a high standard of appearance. You will be expected to lift spent plants, dig, fork and rake areas. Apply soil improvers, topdressing and mulches as directed. Carry out planting activities in accordance with plans. Load and unload plants, set out, plant and water. Remove weeds, flowering plants, water planted areas stake and tie plants. Prune shrubs and remove basal suckers and low growth from trees. Collect and remove litter and waste prior to grass cutting and collect and remove litter and waste arising from gardening activities. Essentials Experience of working in a front line grounds maintenance service Working expereince of maintaining green spaces to high standard Experience in the usage of appropriate grounds maintenance tools and machinery Driving licence allowing up to 3.5 tonne (Transit tipper)
