This is an exciting time to be part of this successful and popular school, the science department is a creative and dynamic department educating students across the age range of 11 to 16. Reporting to the Senior Science Technician, the successful candidate will provide technical, practical and administrative support, enabling teachers to concentrate on the provision of a high standard of science education. We seek an organised individual with an attention to detail who will take a creative approach to problem solving. Energy and enthusiasm, a flexible approach and a pro-active attitude are all aptitudes that we look for. Duties will include preparation of resources, maintenance, cleaning of equipment and stock management. Previous experience of working in a similar role is desirable although induction and training will be provided.
