Our department is responsible to build these facilities in cost, time and quality according to the needs of their users, the production departments. Working within the project management office you will support key processes such as cost management, scheduling and reporting that are critical to the success of our project. What awaits you? As part of the construction team, you will have the opportunity to play an active role in the successful finalisation of the project. You will get deep insights into the complex contexts of building a highly integrated, modern & unique car manufacturing site. You will be able to lead specific longer-term projects as part of the overall programme. You will contribute to continuous improvement and development of documentaries, policies, processes and project rules. You will support, coordinate and manage specific daily tasks incl. the use of project specific software or creating management presentations. You will plan & coordinate project meetings, workshops, team building events and site visits. Qualifications and Experience Studying towards a 2:2 undergraduate degree - preferably in business administration, civil/mechanical engineering or another related subject. Analyse outstanding recall customer data to locate vehicles with incorrect registered keeper details and monitor completion rates of technical actions using BMW data tools. Assist with customer mailing templates and generate batches of letters for recalls and technical actions; administer TCN system for in-car and app messaging and compile campaign effectiveness reports. Develop and support a recall VIN lookup tool for technical actions; compile monthly recall and campaign completion rate reports. Publish bulletins and documents to Retailer HUB, BMW UK's information supply platform for the Retailer network; liaise with individual Retailers to improve completion rates of low-volume recalls. Communicate with other departments (Parts, Customer Services, Aftersales regional teams) and interact with regional teams to support Technical Campaigns and Special Processes. Monitor quality issues and trends by reviewing internet forums and social media; organize regional/team meetings and communicate minutes. Collaborate with NSC national workshop management to report recall and campaign completion at Corby and Upper Heyford off-site used-car centres and participate in the Technical Services Working Group Council. Overview MINI Plant Oxford - Assembly Production Intern - 13 Month Placement (July 2026) We have four placement opportunities within Assembly Production. The Assembly team are looking for interns to join their team and support in problem solving and data analysis. What awaits you? Quality control analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Investigate problem resolution reports. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Undertaking specific project activities as instructed by General Managers and Group Leaders Data analysis and management. Responsibility of one project, relating to assembly, e.g. Damage prevention, Problem solving approaches, Innovations, etc. As an intern you will also be given the opportunity to take part in the testing of new vehicles through one of our car schemes.
