The role As Quality Delivery Manager, you will help drive our approach to quality delivery across all our projects. Key responsibilities You will: Support the implementation and continued development of our Quality Delivery approach across projects. Carry out, organise and communicate Quality Delivery audits and follow-up actions. Help ensure project teams are fully adopting quality procedures and addressing key quality priorities. Identify common quality issues, risks and learning opportunities across multiple projects. Share good practice, lessons learned and practical guidance across the wider business. Provide technical support and help develop quality reference material for project teams. Raise awareness and positively influence attitudes towards quality across the region. Support training, coaching and knowledge sharing with site teams and colleagues. Use data and project feedback to support continuous improvement and reduce defects year on year. What we are looking for We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of construction delivery and a genuine passion for improving quality. You are likely to have: A good understanding of construction methods, buildability and site delivery. Knowledge of common quality issues across construction projects. The confidence to walk projects, ask probing questions and assess whether the right standards are being achieved. Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage people at different levels. The ability to build relationships across project teams and wider stakeholders. A desire to coach, support and share knowledge with others. The ability to manage multiple priorities across different projects. We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Architectural Technologist to join our in-house design team at Willmott Dixon. This role could suit someone early in their career who is looking to move out of an Architect practice. In this role, you will support design development with a focus on producing detailed design information, including standard details and working drawing packages. We have a fantastic opportunity for an Architect/Architectural Technician to join our in-house Architecture and Technical Design Team within Willmott Dixon. We are looking for our candidate to demonstrate robust experience in delivering large schemes, to have an understanding on the delivery of detailed design standards and be used to producing working drawing packages.The role requires robust technical knowledge and a working knowledge of UK Building Regulations to ensure all outputs comply with the necessary legislation, associated standards and WD policy and procedures. In addition we would like candidates familiar with large scale schemes through RIBA stages 3 onwards. Reporting to the Senior Sustainability Manager, you will be part of our award-winning multidisciplinary Sustainability Midlands Team. This exciting position is based in Birmingham Snowhill where we support hybrid working arrangements. Your role will be to support delivery of our customers sustainability aims and our own ambitious Now or Never Strategy. You will analyse data to drive performance and find new insights, carrying out research, collaborate to develop new ideas to support our preconstruction and operational teams manage projects. Responsibilities You will be responsible for: Assist and contribute to the identification, development and embedding of changes across the company's preconstruction and operational teams to deliver our sustainability commitments and targets, to deliver our customers and internal Now or Never Strategy commitments and targets. Develop collaborative partnerships and supply chain relationships in line with our business strategies. Work closely with our people to develop their sustainability skills, knowledge, and capability through delivering training, advice and support. Analyse data such as waste and embodied carbon, conduct research, and identify opportunities to implement innovative initiatives to reduce our impact across our projects Support internal and external customers to understand and respond to their sustainability and environmental priorities Support the business to demonstrate high levels of corporate responsibility and transparency in reporting to ensure legislative compliance and maintain our industry leading certifications and accreditations Support our internal and external customers to identify and manage project environmental risks and opportunities Essential and Desirable Criteria To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter who is able to work agilely. You will also possess: Understanding/competence on sustainability issues in the construction sector Degree (or equivalent) in environmental, science, engineering, geography, construction or related subject. Full UK Driving License. An understanding or experience with ISO14001 standard. Ability to analyse, interpret and report data and information. Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Ability to communicate in a way in which meets the needs of a diverse audience.
