Due to continuous growth of the business, this diverse and fast growing water treatment company covering a range of industrial and commercial sectors across the country is actively seeking to employ a competent, hardworking and committed Water Treatment Chemist based in the Central Belt area. We welcome applications from Edinburgh, Glasgow and the central belt area. Qualifications Ideally, the applicant will have City & Guilds qualification. Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Must have significant demonstrable experience - working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry, which will include tank cleaning, disinfections, cooling towers, acid descales, steam boilers, flushing and closed systems, etc. Must be conversant with current guidelines - (ACOP L8). Key Tasks Chemical Analysis on Cooling towers, Steam Boilers and Closed Systems. Maintaining paperwork and ensuring that all work is carried effectively and appropriately. Building and maintaining a good rapport with company's mixed portfolio clients. Visiting sites as per client's requirements.
