Overview Farrer Barnes is delighted to be working with a leading school to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee the end-to-end payroll and pensions function for a workforce of approximately 800 staff. This is a pivotal role with responsibility for delivering an accurate and timely monthly payroll, managing Teachers' Pensions and Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) administration, and ensuring full compliance with all payroll, pensions and HMRC legislation. Working closely with colleagues across Personnel, Finance and the senior leadership team, as well as with external stakeholders, the Payroll Manager will produce statutory returns, lead year-end processes, support audits and contribute to workforce reporting.
