Escalator Service Engineer Recruiting on behalf of a leader in the field of Escalator Engineering who specialise in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and refurbishment of escalators across the UK. Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Field Service role for an Escalator Engineer to cover the Midlands region. Responsibilities include the Servicing, installation, and repair of escalators, travelators, and walkways. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing or repairing components, conducting safety checks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Effective communication with clients and providing on-site customer support are essential aspects of the position. Please note there is an active on-call rota including weekends and bank holidays. The role will come with a competitive salary, Company Van, Tools, Uniform etc and there is ongoing training and progression available within the company. Skills and experience: Hands-on Escalator Engineering experience, at least Servicing but ideally Installation and Refurbishment experience. NVQ 3 Qualification in Escalator Engineering Full UK Driving License Ability to troubleshoot and identify technical issues efficiently Willingness to work on-site at client locations Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Relevant certifications or experience in escalator maintenance is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions

Fire Alarm Service Engineer South-East / Essex /London Experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer required on a permanent basis to cover the Essex/Kent/London region Competitive salary + company vehicle + benefits The role: Carry out all Service Inspection and ensure all Service Inspection work is carried out to a high standard within agreed timescales Resolve issues that may arise by identifying problems and finding resources to offer solutions Ensure all relevant documentation is completed accurately and on time. Senior Small Works Engineer Fire Alarms Field based covering the West Midlands Up to £40k + company van + fuel card + optional overtime + bonus As a Senior Small Works Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, modification, and commissioning of fire safety systems across a variety of sites. Your work will contribute directly to the delivery of high-quality, compliant fire protection solutions for clients. Working within the Small Works team, you will handle planned minor installation projects, including the upgrade and extension of existing fire alarm systems, as well as smaller standalone installations. You ll be expected to ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in line with relevant regulations and company procedures. The role is mobile, primarily covering the Midlands, with occasional travel to surrounding areas. Projects will vary in size and complexity, requiring a flexible and proactive approach. A company van, tools, laptop, and phone will be provided to support you in your role. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Oversee the delivery of small works projects, including fire alarm system installations, modifications, and upgrades, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard. Manage and coordinate small works engineers and subcontractors, ensuring effective resource planning, site supervision, and clear communication. Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a main point of contact for project-related communication and ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded. Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures across all small works activities. Monitor project progress and quality, conducting site visits, reviewing documentation, and resolving issues as they arise. Support technical development of the team, identifying training needs and mentoring junior engineers to improve capability and performance. Ensure accurate and timely completion of project documentation, including electronic job sheets, commissioning records, and client sign-off. Assist with quoting and project planning, including material procurement, labour allocation, and risk assessments.
