Coach Driver Catterick - DL9 3PS 1 Year Contract The role operates a two-week rotating pattern currently estimated to be: o week 1 - 07 00hrs daily o week 2 - 10:00 - 18:00 hrs daily We are looking for a CAT D and D1 Driver to work on a long term contract. You will need: Cat D vehicle Licence for coaches Responsibilities: • This driver role is required to operate vehicles in full compliance with all civilian and military laws, regulations and safety standards. • You will be driving 54 & 59 multi axle - seat coaches, minibus and occasionally cars. • Responsible for the transportation (shuttle service). • Responsible for carrying out the daily completion of vehicle maintenance checks, vehicle husbandry and all associated vehicle documentation. • This role requires good time management, sound judgement when making immediate decisions and to work. • Manage the registration of personnel boarding the coaches and ensure a safe handover to a duty person upon arrival, maintaining full duty of care throughout. R&D Engineering Technician West Yorkshire Salary £35-37k Our client is a global leader in the development and manufacture of a range of seals and gaskets used in sectors including oil & gas, chemicals, food, water and pharmaceuticals. In this position you will play a key role in the physical and mechanical testing of sealing materials (compression testing, leakage testing etc) including R&D trials, competitor testing and troubleshooting, primarily using automated test equipment as well as traditional standard tests to ASTM, BS, DIN standards. You will also need to set up the various machines and carry out any fault-finding as required. There is a very strong focus on the use of MS Excel and carrying out data analysis and communication of the results within the R&D Team. Candidate Educated to at least 'A' level standard (or equivalent) ideally in maths, physics or mechanical engineering, or with equivalent industrial experience. Some experience in an engineering or instrumentation test laboratory environment would be advantageous. Proficient with MS Excel as data handling and data analysis is a key part of the role. Strong mathematical bias. Attention to detail is critical to this role. Hands-on mechanical skills, particularly with complex test equipment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to work on own initiative and without constant supervision but also works well as part of a team. Good organisational and time management skills. Results oriented, critical thinker and problem solver.

Microbiology / Molecular biology Lab Assistant MUST BE ALREADY LIVING LOCAL TO EXETER Location: Starcross - EX6 8PF Length: Initially Until end March 2027 Hours: Tue - Sat , 8am to 4pm with flexibility - 37 hours a week Rate: £13.15 p/h (£19.73 p/h for Sat) We have a temporary position available in South Exeter. You would be part of a team performing routine microbiology and molecular biology work on environmental samples. As an Assistant Scientist you will be expected to assist in the delivery of the analytical service to defined time, cost and quality targets by extracting and analysing environmental samples. These are temporary posts, you will be involved in the analysis of water & wastewater using a variety of microbiology and molecular testing methods. Though full training is provided the role requires candidates to have a scientific background, through education or work experience. They are looking for someone who enjoys being busy. The work can be high intensity at times, and they are seeking good team players. A willingness to learn and be proactive is essential.
