We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead and support our cloud and on-premises infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Azure , Zerto , disaster recovery and security best practices. This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions that ensure high availability, data integrity and security compliance. The role What you'll do here Azure Infrastructure Management Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure-based infrastructure services, including IaaS, PaaS, networking and security components. Virtualisation VMware & Hyper-V Management of environments. Disaster Recovery Architect and maintain comprehensive DR solutions. Test and document DR plans, ensuring rapid recovery capabilities for mission-critical systems. Security & Compliance Implement and maintain infrastructure security policies and controls aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS). Collaborate with InfoSec teams on vulnerability management and risk mitigation. Infrastructure Automation & Optimisation Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates, or Terraform. Drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation efforts across the environment. Monitoring & Troubleshooting Monitor system performance and availability. Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex infrastructure incidents and problems. Collaboration & Leadership Mentor junior team members and collaborate cross-functionally with cloud architects, developers and security teams. Contribute to strategic infrastructure planning and project execution. Show us you're the one We're looking for someone who Thrives when faced with challenging backup and recovery scenarios Has a passion for complex technical puzzles, which is matched only by their dedication to customer success Is equally comfortable diving deep into technical details and explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences Believes in building systems that prevent problems, not just fixing them when they occur The ideal candidate will have Proven experience as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or similar role Expertise in Zerto for disaster recovery and replication In-depth understanding of disaster recovery planning, BCP, and failover/failback processes Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Compute, Networking, Storage, Security) Strong knowledge of infrastructure security principles and tools VMWare and Hyper-V experience Proficiency in scripting (e.g. PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code practices Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills Ready to grow with us?
