About the Role The marketing team are on a mission to drive meaningful brand awareness in our industry, among brokers, policyholders, and key partners. We pride ourselves on being a nimble and focused team but as our brand continues to grow, we're looking for someone who's ready to roll up their sleeves and help us create and execute compelling marketing campaigns that put our name on the map. We're looking for a Marketing Campaign Executive to join our small but ambitious marketing team. You'll play a central role in planning, coordinating, and delivering campaigns that raise our profile with brokers and policyholders alike. You'll be responsible for content creation, campaign execution, and managing communications across digital and traditional channels. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager and design/communication freelancers to bring ideas to life, from broker-facing email campaigns and blogs on our website to internal communications and brochure copy. Key Responsibilities Copywriting Write engaging copy for a variety of channels (emails, landing pages, brochures, blog posts, social captions, etc.). Tailor messaging for different audiences - brokers, policyholders, and internal stakeholders. Support the creation of sales enablement materials and broker marketing toolkits. Communications Work with our PR consultant on press releases, company updates, and internal newsletters. Support broker and client communications, ensuring clarity and consistency. Help maintain a consistent tone of voice across all touchpoints. Campaign Management & Reporting Assist in the planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns. Coordinate campaign deliverables across channels including email, web and print. Liaise with internal teams and external partners to deliver projects on time. Track key performance metrics and support post-campaign analysis. Recommend improvements and help optimise future campaigns. What We're Looking For 2 years' experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally in a B2B or financial services environment. Strong copywriting skills to produce everything from email series and case studies to sales collateral, with an adaptable tone and excellent attention to detail. Experience with marketing campaigns from planning through to delivery. Strong project management and organisational skills. Some familiarity with design tools (Canva/Adobe) Why Join Us? BACKGROUND/ ABOUT DCL Direct Commercial are specialist commercial motor insurers with an award-winning Claims team. Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Claims Adjuster - Third Party Injury to join our team. The successful candidate would be based at our brand-new specialist Claims Hub in Chelmsford where no two days are the same! In the DCL Claims department, you will gain exposure to a variety of liability scenarios and, with the support of our team of 90, there is plenty of room for learning on the job. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To pro-actively manage all aspects of a third-party claim from notification through to conclusion. Provide excellent claims handling service with minimal leakage, in accordance with company procedures and service standards. Accurately value injury claims and subsequent associated losses (loss of earnings/care etc) Ensure that claim reserves, payments and Large Movement Reports are calculated correctly and in accordance with company procedures and service standards. Investigate and resolve claims in a professional timely and pro-active manner. Manage and exceed customer expectations and prioritise work to resolve any disputes that may arise in the settlement of a claim. To create accurate Claims Management System records Identify own training needs and to seek appropriate training to meet own performance targets To ensure quality, service standards and productivity levels are maintained to a high standard To be supportive of change within the claims handling teams Where appropriate, attend in house and client review meetings To assist with both internal & external auditing. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE SKILLS: In depth knowledge of the Road Traffic Act and the Motor Insurers Bureau Solid understanding of Small, Multi and Fast track litigation process Capable of investigating and negotiating liability disputes Capable of negotiation credit hire and property damage claims Capable of accurately assessing General Damages Awareness of fraud tactics (identification, validation and handling) Capable of managing multiple work streams and working within time scales and directed by the Court or line manager Identify claims with the potential for financial deterioration Confident in attending CMC or other settlement opportunities as required Where required to act as a referral point for more inexperienced members of the department Excellent written and verbal communication skills An understanding of the CRU Benefits system including the appeal process. We are looking for a Compliance Admin Assistant based in or around Chelmsford to join our existing Compliance team. We are fully office based at our Chelmsford office. Business management responsibilities: Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures at all times Undertake all activities in a professional and ethical manner Attend and actively participate in internal meetings (as required) Individual Conduct Rules: 1. To act with integrity. 2. To act with due care, skill and diligence. Role Overview & Responsibilities: Active involvement in DCL's ongoing compliance function including monitoring upcoming regulatory changes and the annual review of DCL's policies and procedures; Develop (over time) an understanding of FCA regulation and its application to UK insurance firms; Assist with the administration of DCL's Complaints Handling process; Develop an understanding of the FCA's Complaint Handling rules (DISP rules); Develop an understanding of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR); Assist with oversight of any changes to Company stationery/e-mail footers in line with Company legislation and FCA regulations. Assist with oversight of COI policy and ensure logging of all COI and gifts in accordance with Company procedure and Bribery Act 2010. Assist with the ongoing maintenance of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR); Assist with allocating mandatory compliance training to relevant staff including maintenance of Broker Assess; Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting (to management and Insurer partners) as required; Undertake ad-hoc Compliance tasks as required. Skills Excellent team player with the ability to work closely with others to deliver results, identify and resolve issues; Excellent organisational skills (ability to prioritise and manage various tasks simultaneously); The ability and willingness to learn new skills and upskill quickly to new requirements; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Prior experience of the insurance sector or the Financial Services sector desirable but not essential.
