Job Title: Senior Employee Relations Advisor Location: Runcorn, UK Salary: Up to £45,000 dependant on experience Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.15 We're looking for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to deliver a high-quality, risk aware, and solutions focused ER service across our diverse organisation of 5,500+ colleagues. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced, high volume environment and is passionate about driving fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes. What you'll do Act as a senior point of contact for complex ER matters, providing expert advice and guidance. Manage high volume ER casework including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management. Handle ACAS conciliation, mediation, and prepare case bundles for Employment Tribunals. Coach and mentor managers and junior ER colleagues to build capability and confidence. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to influence ER strategy and embed best practice. Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives. Travel across our UK sites as needed to support complex cases and deliver training. What we're looking for Extensive experience as a Senior ER Advisor or Specialist in a high volume environment (Retail or Distribution preferred). Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience. Proven experience with ACAS conciliation, mediation, and Employment Tribunal preparation. Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. High integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (iTrent experience is a plus).
