Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to, and related E-Learning courses are completed within the required deadline. Control of business area policies and procedures making sure they are up to date and reviewed periodically. Completion of Monthly MI. Root cause analysis on errors ensuring relevant steps are in place to mitigate risk and unfair treatment of the customer. Overall responsibility for Operational areas Permanent Supervision, ensuring monthly controls are completed by the required deadline and implementing suggestions from relevant actions. Support Yearly company audit, being open and transparent providing data in a professional manner. Provide support across the department as and when requested during peak/holiday/sickness. Ad hoc project work in line with company strategy Skills, Experience & Background Previous Leadership experience working in a fast-paced organisation, with proven coaching and mentoring skills. AAT Level 4 or similar accounting qualification Proven ability in working under pressure An interest in problem solving and efficiency finding Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Evidence of strong organisation skills including time management. High Level of numeracy and attention to detail. We are looking for an Category Manager Procurement who can join us on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This is an Hybrid role with a requirement to be in the Bristol office as required and flexibility to work from home. Key Purpose Oversee the delivery of the Ayven's UK procurement strategy (core categories ) via creating strong partnerships with both Ayvens business stakeholders and operational suppliers to deliver great outcomes (e.g. consistent service, commercial synergies, responsible practices, low business risk) Develop a collaborative 'centre of excellence' in which Procurement supports both Group goals, but offers an attentive 'shared service' right across the Ayvens business. Support the intergration of Ayvens Procurement (UK) through embedding robust procurement policies, processes and best practice Summary of Responsibilities Own the sourcing strategy for assigned 'core' procurement categories with a both strategic and operational lens to ensure the provision of of supply is both consistent and great value. Ensure the strategy is clearly documented and works in conjunction with (Group Local) stakeholders to ensure both business and customer requirements are understood and met. Through working in collaboration with the Group ensure all categories are underpinned by robust planning & forecasting, with the goal to maximise the acheivement of targeted synergies, rebates and bonuses. All 'contracts' under direct management are diligently managed throughout their lifecycle, whilst specialist support may be required to assist in wider 'contracting' or 'commercial reviews' across the Procurement Team portfolio. Maintain an effective forward radar in the industry with key trends and observations shared across the organisation. This is combined with an active sector and knowledge base to underpin the expertise required to undertake the role. Alongside the wider procurement team ensure a 'shared service' model is developed to provide an attentive UK service for all Procurement needs. This blends both a need to up introduce new policies, processes and procedures locally, but also work with Societe Generale and Ayvens Group more to leverage their skills and experience in building the UK's capability. Actively support the general management in specific projects or assignments as part of integration. Ensure good risk and compliance principles are followed all times.
