The Vacancy The Role This is a new role within the Application Development & Release team reporting into the Testing Manager. The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for test planning, execution, coordination, and reporting of FSCS information systems and software applications to ensure the delivery of high-quality business applications following industry best practices. The Test Lead will work closely with our suppliers and partners delivering solutions to meet business needs, requiring strong communication, planning, and coordination skills. Key Priorities Work with business resources and lead creation of UAT test scenarios/scripts and execution. Support continuous improvement of the testing framework based on industry standards, process and product KPIs, QA reports, and frameworks, embracing agile ways of working. Identify and document Risks, Issues, Assumptions, and Dependencies during the test phase. Information Security and Data Protection Responsibilities Pass the FSCS information security induction training annually. Adhere to FSCS policies including Information Security, Data Protection, and acceptable use. Manage Data Handling securely and in accordance with its classification. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Technical Skills & Knowledge Experience with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, HP ALM, Jira). Experience with Selenium, Specflow, NUnit, Extent-Reporting, Page Object Model. Knowledge of risk management, defect management, task planning, and performance metrics. ETL testing experience (desirable). Experience leading and executing functional and non-functional testing in an Agile (SCRUM) environment. Experience with XML and service-oriented protocols (desirable). Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record in testing web-based applications, including mobile and database testing. Ability to analyze complex requirements and design specifications to develop test cases. Willingness to document all tasks and projects thoroughly. Experience Experience writing detailed, structured test scripts using best practices. Understanding of testing methodology and defect analysis. Experience testing across platforms such as CRM systems (Siebel/Dynamics 365), Enterprise Document Management Systems (OpenText), Web Portals, and Data Integration (desirable). The People Team Administrator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth functioning of all aspects of the People Team's responsibilities.
