They are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to a strong pipeline of work. This opportunity offer a clear career path as well the opportunity to become chartered. Location: Hatfield + hybrid working (3 days in the office) Rate: 380- 400 per day outside 1r35 Due to significant growth, my client is looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team to work on a number of multidisciplinary rail projects across the UK. My client a Tier 1 contractor is seeking a Site Engineer with structures experience who is looking for a paperwork and supervision-focused role, supporting the delivery of complex reinforced concrete structures on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects. The Role You'll be working closely with Section Engineers and Agents, taking ownership of paperwork and quality documentation while supporting site operations. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with QA documentation and maintaining accurate site records Reviewing drawings and ensuring works are built to specification Preparing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) Collating as-built surveys and handover documentation Liaising with subcontractors and internal teams to resolve queries Supporting the delivery of RC structures and other structural elements About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as a Site Engineer working on structures (RC frames, bridges, retaining walls, etc.) Strong knowledge of QA processes and paperwork management Proficiency in reading drawings and maintaining technical documentation Experience working with Tier 1 main contractors on major infrastructure projects preferred Valid CSCS card and right to work in the UK

Key Responsibilities: Deliver end-to-end infrastructure projects, from early planning to final account. Lead NEC3/4 contracts (Options A, C & E) with strong commercial and strategic oversight. Manage pre-contract scoping, tendering, and risk mitigation. Oversee post-contract delivery, change control, and dispute resolution. Drive stakeholder engagement and supply chain performance. Requirements: NEC-accredited, degree-qualified, and chartered (MAPM or equivalent). Strong background in infrastructure project delivery, ideally in water/environment sectors. Skilled in commercial management, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination. Familiar with CDM regulations and risk frameworks.
