Chef - Holiday Park Milnthorpe, Cumbria 13+ per hour Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present food items from the menu to a consistently high standard. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Manage prep work and ensure the kitchen is well-stocked for service. Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service. Take pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and friendly working environment. Ensure that your standards of personal appearance and hygiene, including uniforms, are maintained in line with company requirements. Ensure compliance to statutory and company regulations and health & safety guidelines including fire and emergency, follow correct procedures and wear appropriate PPE as applicable Ensure that chemicals and equipment are only used in line with COSHH regulations and risk assessments. Ensure that all relevant health and safety checks are undertaken, and that any potential risks or hazards are reported promptly Ensure compliance with company and park policies and procedures. Always comply with data protection regulations and company procedures when handling employee and/or customer details. Such information must not be communicated to anyone other than authorised persons. Undertake any other duties as required by your line manager and/or the Board of Directors. Requirements Proven experience working as a chef or in a similar kitchen role. Ability to follow recipes and prepare dishes consistently. Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. Positive attitude and team spirit. Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or above).
