This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys balancing office-based planning with hands-on site involvement, and can confidently manage multiple projects at pace. You'll oversee the full project lifecycle-from pre-construction through to handover-ensuring programmes are met, budgets are controlled, and quality standards remain consistently high. With project values ranging from £200K to £3M, you'll play a key role in shaping the successful delivery of high-profile retail refurbishments, fit-outs, and rollouts. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple fast-track retail projects simultaneously across the UK. Lead project planning, programming, procurement, and delivery activities. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Oversee budgets, cost control, and financial reporting. Ensure all works meet health & safety standards and company procedures. Drive projects to completion within agreed timescales and specifications. Provide clear communication and updates to stakeholders at all stages. Skills & Experience Required Minimum 4 years' experience working at Project Manager level. Strong background in retail fit-out or refurbishment projects. Trade background preferred (carpentry, joinery) Proven ability to manage fast-paced, multi-site programmes within retail Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financials. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Head of Estimating (Cladding Remediation & Retrofit) Location: Warrington (Northwest-based candidates preferred) Working Pattern: Hybrid - 4 days office-based initially Salary: Circa £85,000 + Package About the Company Our client is a well-established Northwest contractor specialising in cladding remediation and retrofit solutions , delivering projects across both private and local authority sectors. With a strong pipeline of high-rise remediation schemes, they focus heavily on: High-rise cladding remediation Fire barrier installation and upgrades External Wall Insulation (EWI) Retrofit and building safety works Due to sustained growth and an expanding order book, they are seeking either an experienced Head of Estimating or a Senior Estimator ready to step into a leadership role to lead their Warrington-based estimating function. The Role This is a key leadership position responsible for managing the estimating department (currently 3 estimators) and overseeing all pricing activity, with a particular emphasis on cladding remediation . The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in securing new work, managing 2-stage tenders, and ensuring commercially sound and competitive submissions.
