We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, committee-run nursery that s deeply embedded in its local community. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional to step into a leadership role and help shape a high-quality, play-based learning environment. They are also seeking a Part-Time LV3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner working just 26 hours per week! About the Role As Nursery Manager you ll lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional early years education. You'll be in ratio part of the week and work closely with a voluntary management committee to support operational excellence and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and inspire a small, committed team Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards Support curriculum planning, staff training, and performance reviews Manage budgets, staffing, and day-to-day operations Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community Serve as the Nominated Person and First Contact for Ofsted About You Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5+ desirable) At least 2 years leadership experience in an early years setting Confident with EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery legislation Great communicator with strong leadership and organisational skills Passionate about delivering inclusive, high-quality care

You ll lead with clarity, compassion, and professionalism ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and compliance. You ll work closely with the Deputy Manager and leadership team, and provide occasional support across multiple sites.
