The Role Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Hours: 3 shift rotation We are looking for an experienced Lithographic Printer to join our production team. The main purpose of this role is to support the smooth and efficient running of the KBA during your shift, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and teamwork. What You ll Be Doing: Adhere to Health & Safety and PPE requirements at all times. Maintain best working practices and report non-conformities. Learn and improve skills in paper awareness, ink matching, machine setting, and problem-solving. Conduct regular quality checks in line with ISO standards. Maintain housekeeping and machine maintenance. Support overall team goals and company certifications. To work in accordance with all company certifications. Actively engage and participate in all elements of Health and Safety requirements, whilst utilising the Health and Safety systems available. What We re Looking For: Experience in lithographic offset printing (other print disciplines considered). Manufacturing background with technical expertise. Attention to detail and a strong eye for color. Ability to work independently and within a team. Resilience under pressure with a willingness to learn new skills. The willingness to develop their skills with the aim of progressing into a No.1 Printer role over time. Key areas of focus may include Waste, Service, Quality, Overtime, Manning, OTIF, Down time planned maintenance, Stock Levels, Complaints reduction, SSOW/SOPs, Safety Conversations, Audits Operations The Shift Leaders is responsible for managing the operational activites within their area. Key areas of focus will include: Ensuring safety systems and practices are followed at all times. Ensure customer delivery and quality requirements are achieved. Delivery and service to the customer is at or above OTIF targets. All quality checks for are completed to agreed frequency. Machine speeds are optimised for all jobs. Incident reports are communicated to the relevant departments. Set up times are at agreed targets. Machine feed targets are achieved consistently. Housekeeping audits done regularly Manage Machine crewing & holiay reuquirments Feedback is accurate and correct for the shift end reports. Crew training requirements are monitored along with performance reviews. Your job title does not limit your duties and the Company may require you from time to time to undertake any other duties within your capability.
