Responsibilities: - Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications. - Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes -The work would be second fix carpentry to doors, skirting, architrave etc and some maintenance and multi trade skillset. - Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures - Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client requirements - Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and disassemble structures Experience within Domestic social housing, or call homes or simular etc. Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools - Knowledge of carpentry techniques and best practices - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements - Experience with second fix carpentry, roofing, painting, or fabrication is a plus Skills: - Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, and levels - Familiarity with power tools such as drills, sanders, and routers - Ability to plumb walls and structures accurately - Knowledge of assembling and disassembling structures using appropriate techniques - Must be physically fit.
