Job Title: Fire Engineer Reports To: Director / Senior Management Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled professional to manage small to medium sized projects. In this role, you will serve as the technical lead, act as the primary point of contact, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will work independently with the design team and collaborate closely with senior management to maintain project scope and financial discipline. Key Responsibilities: Project Management & Technical Leadership Manage small to medium sized projects from inception to completion. Administrative & Documentation Duties Maintain project documentation by saving meeting minutes and ensuring that project folders are up to date with all relevant information in the correct format. Ensure all work time is accurately recorded on timesheets. Professional Development & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with colleagues to enhance both individual and team technical knowledge. Dedicate available time to improving technical skills and maintaining a record of Continued Professional Development (CPD). Performance Standards Achieve an efficiency level of at least 85% billable time (excluding Annual Leave, Sickness, and Training). Requirements: Proven experience managing small to medium sized projects. Strong technical background, particularly in developing technical drawings and fire strategies. Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with internal teams and clients. Our client is looking for an experienced Generator Commissioning Engineer to join their Special Projects Division, supporting projects from initial design through to delivery, commissioning, and final handover. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer with a deep technical background in generator systems who is looking to progress into a broader project management and delivery role. The projects involve complex, high-value installations requiring expertise in synchronisation and fault-finding. Key Responsibilities Commission and fault-find on low-voltage generator systems up to 3MVA. Set up and commission synchronising systems, including island mode and mains paralleling configurations. Work across the project lifecycle†supporting design input, attending site installations, commissioning, and final handover. Liaise with clients, site teams, project managers, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery. Interpret and work with systems from manufacturers such as DeepSea, ComAp, Woodward, and FG Wilson. Operate within industry and project-specific standards, particularly BS7671. WHAT WE RE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for an experienced Multi trade Carpenter to work on various social housing, domestic and commercial contracts for a leading company, covering Leeds and 50 miles radius, on a long term ongoing weekly CIS basis. Responsibilities: - Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications. - Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes -The work would be second fix carpentry to doors, skirting, architrave etc and some maintenance and multi trade skillset. - Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures - Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client requirements - Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and disassemble structures Experience within Domestic social housing, or call homes or simular etc. Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools - Knowledge of carpentry techniques and best practices - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements - Experience with second fix carpentry, roofing, painting, or fabrication is a plus Skills: - Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, and levels - Familiarity with power tools such as drills, sanders, and routers - Ability to plumb walls and structures accurately - Knowledge of assembling and disassembling structures using appropriate techniques - Must be physically fit.
