Our client, a precision engineering company based in Lichfield, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing manufacturing team. This role focuses on producing high-precision components within a modern machining environment, working on technically challenging parts and small batch production. Key Responsibilities: Set and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Work to tight tolerances while maintaining high quality standards Select appropriate tooling and machining strategies Carry out first-off and in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining issues Experience Required: Proven experience in CNC turning Experience with CNC controls such as FANUC, Siemens, or Mazatrol desirable Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances Experience using precision measuring equipment Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm Friday: 7:30am - 11:30am (38 hours per week) This is a great opportunity to join a well-equipped engineering business working on high-precision components.
