Electrical LV/HV Design & planning Engineer: DNO ICP Location: London Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 Depending on experience Alecto Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer with previous experience of HV design for a role based in Central London Our clients are specialists within the utilities industry. The HV Design Engineer reports into the directors and will be responsible for the design of HV systems up to 33KV and LV for public sector, Commercial and Residential schemes including new connections The Role: . Hands on design Reviewing in-house designs and those produced by external contractors Advising on design and design change issues Ensure that design projects are undertaken by competent personnel and sub contractors Reviewing designs created by others Provide advice on material selection, cable laying and jointing methodology adhering to UK electrical legislation and statutory responsibilities Ensuring that all utility connection projects that are undertaken by approved sub contractors are both accredited by Lloyds and have been personally assessed by the Technical Advisor.
