Weekend Freelance Baristas for Coffee Van We operate a mobile coffee van at Brockley Market on Saturdays and Victoria Park Market on Sundays. The setup is the same as at our three shops in SE London - Mahlkonig E80/E65 grinders and a Victoria Arduino Black Eagle gravimetric espresso machine, using Square Mile coffee and Northiam Dairy milk. Every drink we make is as good as what we'd serve to customers at the shops, poured with decent latte art every time, even when we're doing 600+ coffees a day. To this end, we're looking for people who can keep up on a continuously busy shift, making great drinks and serving out with a genuinely friendly and engaging manner with customers. While we are looking for people to make coffee, we could potentially take someone on with just FOH experience as one of the roles is just taking orders and writing on cups. You would have to know coffee relatively well for this role, and be able to work and multitask very quickly. If you have good experience in a similar high-volume setup and would be able to commit to at least 4 shifts a month, please get in touch with a cover letter outlining your background in coffee. We might ask you to come to our shop in Brockley SE4 to meet before we proceed with shifts, but if you have the right experience and can jump straight on, we would have shifts available immediately. After the weekend you would just email a PDF invoice that we pay off asap, usually on the same day.
