We are currently looking for a dynamic Contracts Manager with a Social Housing background to join our ever-growing team here at Connolly! We have several exciting opportunities to join our North West team. The scope of works we are currently undertaking includes kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, re-wires, window and door replacements, EWI works, external works, and social housing decarbonisation schemes - previous experience in this type of work is essential. What you will be responsible for Managing operational site teams Implementing health & safety procedures and practices to industry-leading standards Managing delivery in accordance with all regulations, prescribed recommendations, contract documentation, and standards Managing and maintaining programme and reporting any departures Participating in activities and initiatives to improve working practices Adherence to company policies and procedures while promoting Connolly Ltd values Arranging and attending internal and external pre-start meetings Liaison and communication with all internal Connolly SLT team members Efficient allocation and management of project resources including direct labour, supplied materials, plant, fleet requirements, sub-contractors, supply chain, and free issue materials Review and approval (in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor) of sub-contractor valuations Relationship management with peers, clients, design teams, and consultants Arranging and attending contract close-out meetings, chairing if required What we'd like from you Proven track record of contract management Experience in managing multiple social housing projects from start to finish In-depth knowledge of construction standards, legislation, and quality delivery Strong planning, decision-making, and organizational skills Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) First Aid at Work certification Asbestos Awareness (desirable but not essential) What we'll give you In this role, you will receive an attractive rewards package that includes a competitive salary/package, comprehensive pension, generous holiday entitlement, and other benefits including training and development.
