Expleo is seeking a Senior Acoustics Engineer to support one of our key automotive clients. This is a Warwick-based role with flexibility to work across multiple UK sites, offered on an initial 12-month contract. The position focuses on ensuring consistent wind noise performance across current production vehicle lines. You will act as the in-plant representative for wind noise attributes, identifying and resolving any deviations from target performance. Key Responsibilities: Represent the wind noise attribute within the manufacturing environment, acting as the voice of the customer. Monitor and assess wind noise performance through: Objective measurements Subjective drive assessments Static evaluations Build conformance checks Conduct initial root cause investigations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resolution. Liaise with the core aeroacoustics team to understand critical attribute characteristics of upcoming vehicle launches and ongoing quality actions. Required Skills & Experience: Experience in an automotive production plant quality or engineering role. Proficiency in engineering problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, 8D, Root Cause Analysis). Full UK driving licence with the ability to perform subjective vehicle assessments. Expleo is seeking a highly skilled SUMS Pack Deployment and Compatibility Operational Test Engineer to join our team in Gaydon, Warwickshire , on an Inside IR35 contract basis . This is a workshop-based role focused on updating current production and engineering vehicles to the latest software packs, ensuring readiness for SOTA and integration testing. You'll be working on cutting-edge automotive technology in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical systems (engine, chassis, etc.) Perform software updates and validation testing Conduct service, diagnostics, and repair operations on current vehicles Provide technical feedback to support subsystem development Prepare, fit, and remove test components Assemble and replace systems/components Manufacture and modify electrical harnesses Trace, rectify, and validate faults using diagnostic tools Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with engineering teams Engineer bespoke solutions to overcome technical challenges What We're Looking For: Advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools Experience in diagnostics and repair of automotive systems Proficiency with computer diagnostic equipment Ability to work independently in non-routine situations Strong communication and documentation skills Experience leading daily operations and mentoring junior staff is a plus

We are hiring on behalf of our customer for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team as an NVH Modal Test Engineer . This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge vehicle development projects, contributing to the refinement of Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) performance through advanced modal testing techniques. Contract: 12-Month Initial Contract Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire Key Responsibilities: Conduct measurement, analysis, and reporting of vehicle, system, and component modal performance to meet key gateway requirements. Perform lab-based transfer function measurements to support NVH attribute development and issue investigation, including Transfer Path Analysis. Collaborate with internal and external CAE teams to undertake detailed correlation work and improve future models and simulations. Maintain the modal lab workspace, ensuring it is fit for use and calibration compliant. Support taskforce activities to resolve complex engineering challenges. Keep method statements and testing processes up to date for modal and systems testing. Skills Required: Experience within a modal testing environment, including setup and use of impact hammer testing and shaker equipment. Strong understanding of NVH signal processing and analysis, particularly modal, structural, and transfer function analysis. Methodical and detail-oriented approach to planning, executing, and reporting high-quality testing. Ability to effectively present and communicate complex NVH data. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely within a small team, including mentoring apprentice colleagues. Proactive in identifying and proposing continuous improvements and new working methods. Practical skills to carry out basic fitting tasks for test setup and instrumentation, including designing new fixtures/rigs for fabrication. Education & Experience: Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
