We are currently seeking a Site Manager to join our team to oversee a refurbishment project in Paisley. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the site team to ensure high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Oversee all aspects of the refurbishment project, ensuring timely completion within budget. Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring their performance meets our expectations. Keep accurate records of project progress, budgets, and any changes to scope. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations on-site. Requirements: Proven experience managing refurbishment projects, with a strong background in commercial works. Solid experience in leading site teams and managing subcontractors and suppliers. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills. Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and site teams. Ability to thrive under pressure, meeting deadlines without compromising on quality. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations. Formed in 2003, City Gate Construction (CGC) specialise in construction, refurbishment, fabrication, mechanical and electrical services, new build housing, bespoke joinery, maintenance and regeneration. With its Head Office in Linwood, CGC employs more than 200 people, with six UK offices, most recently opening premises in Birmingham. Providing a bespoke service across a range of industries, CGC continue to secure major contracts from housing associations, exclusive private developers and local authorities. Since its formation, CGC has recruited around 180 Renfrewshire residents and despite the pandemic, CGC have experienced continued grown, boosting an annual turnover this year in excess of 40m. We also continue to recruit apprentices, with 22 currently enrolled across a range of trades including painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery, plumbing and plastering. We are seeking an experienced Joiner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of joinery works on sites across Renfrewshire and surrounding areas. We are looking for people to work as part of our Voids team and our planned and reactive maintenance team. Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans. Measuring, cutting, and shaping timber for various joinery works, including door and window frames, stairs, skirting boards, and architraves. Install work in accordance with relevant regulations and standards. Working with other tradespeople, to ensure that works are completed to the required standards and on time. Maintaining accurate records of materials used and works carried out. Requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on maintenance and refurbishment joinery works. A background in void or tenanted property would be highly beneficial Knowledge of relevant building regulations and standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A full UK driving license.
