SC-Cleared Senior Performance Test Engineer London Hybrid Inside IR35 My client is seeking an SC-cleared Senior Performance Test Engineer to join a forward-thinking team. You will bring proven experience in the following areas: Around three years' experience leading performance testing with JMeter Azure / Cloud (ADF would be useful but not essential) OAT and Functional Test Automation - tools such as Selenium, Playright, Cucumber in an Agile environment Own the Performance Test Engineering for a number of core critical apps Performance Tested end to end architecture using Gatling, Jenkins, CI/CD, Grafana, Prometheus Performance analysis to identify bottlenecks Develope non-functional requirements (NFRs) Drive efficiency through platform performance engineering Showcase skills to junior team members You will design and execute performance, load and stress tests using JMeter, LoadRunner or Gatling, ensuring that testing aligns with the performance strategy and agreed non-functional requirements. Working closely with technical teams to troubleshoot issues, monitor systems with Grafana and Splunk, and use diagnostics tools such as New Relic and Dynatrace. The Mechanical Chassis Design Engineer will join an eight-person chassis team, working across the full product lifecycle-from early concepts and component design through to validation, production support and aftermarket field fixes. The role offers scope to progress from component-level design into wider systems architecture and project engineering responsibilities. Key responsibilities include: Designing and detailing chassis systems, structures and mechanical components Producing engineering drawings and accurate Bills of Materials Supporting DVP&R, design reviews and product validation Resolving manufacturing, build and field-service issues through root-cause analysis Working with suppliers, customers and cross-functional engineering teams Considering manufacturability, cost, quality and performance throughout the design process Core technologies and engineering areas include 3D CAD, ideally Solid Edge, BS 8888, sheet metal, fabricated structures, welding, fasteners, BOM creation, DVP&R and Design for Manufacture and Assembly .
