As Senior Civil Engineer, you will take a leading role in delivering a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects, ranging from small-scale highway improvements to major multi-million-pound residential and commercial developments. Typical schemes include access junctions (roundabouts, signalised junctions, ghost-island right turns, and priority junctions), highway alignments, drainage strategies, and flood risk assessments. You will oversee design delivery, mentor junior team members, and ensure all work meets the highest technical and legislative standards. You will hold a degree in Civil Engineering (or an equivalent qualification) and have at least eight years of post-graduate experience within the UK civil engineering or development infrastructure sector. You will be proficient in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Vehicle Tracking, and MicroDrainage/Flow, with a strong understanding of design standards and best practice, including DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20, and NRSWA. Key Responsibilities Carry out topographical surveys of varying scales using the latest robotic total station and GNSS technology. Process and analyse topographical data to produce 2D and 3D deliverables using N4ce (or similar) software. Undertake measured building surveys using a range of specialist laser scanning equipment.
