Salary: £24,804 £28,219 (with the potential for progression within the band based on programme development and growth) Location: Ashton Gate Stadium We have an exciting opportunity to join the Education Department at Bristol City Robins Foundation and lead our FdSc and BSc (Top-up) courses in Community Football Coaching and Development. If so, we would like to talk to you We seek a full-time Programme Lead for our Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development, including the BSc Top-up year. Delivered in partnership with the University of South Wales and EFL in the Community, this course blends academic study with real-world delivery experience within the Robins Foundation and wider club programmes. This role also includes coaching a team and coordinating fixtures within our post-16 provision. Your Main Responsibilities: Deliver weekly lectures using USW online content and support students with assessments. Monitor student progress and provide supportive interventions when needed. Develop and manage work placements and coach education sessions. Lead student recruitment and build strong relationships with local colleges and schools. Create clear progression pathways from BTEC to degree level. Grow and enhance the programme, identifying opportunities for development and innovation. Coach and manage a post-16 football team, delivering training and overseeing the fixture schedule. Support staff development while maintaining high standards of student welfare and safeguarding. You will have: FA Level 2 in Coaching Football (Essential) UEFA B License (Desirable) Teaching or Instructing Qualification (Desirable) Degree or equivalent in Sports Coaching, Education, or related field (Desirable) Experience in an education or coach education setting, ideally working within higher education. An ability to lead, organise, and manage a degree-level education programme, ensuring high academic and practical standards. Strong knowledge, understanding and delivery skills in relation to coaching and coach development. Ability to effectively mentor, motivate and support students Experience in building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders. Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Knowledge of safeguarding policies and best practices in an educational and sports setting. Ability to lead and facilitate professional development opportunities for students and staff. IT literate. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in delivering and growing our fundraising offer, from our iconic Robins Lotto and matchday draw to challenge events, auctions, and community-led fundraisers. You ll be responsible for coordinating a range of campaigns and events that connect our supporters with the Foundation s work in education, health, and inclusion across Bristol. You ll work closely with our Communications and Development teams, as well as key club partners, to develop engaging fundraising experiences, secure new supporters, and maximise income through creative campaigns and event execution. The post holder will be based at our Ashton Gate office with weekend work on a Bristol City matchday. Main Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of Robins Lotto and coordinate regular member engagement activities. Lead on matchday fundraising, including the 50/50 draw , scratch cards, and bucket collections. Develop and deliver successful fundraising campaigns and supporter events (e.g. Tough Mudder, charity runs, corporate events). Coordinate fundraising content with the Communications team, including newsletters and digital campaigns. Steward relationships with donors, sponsors, and supporters, ensuring a positive and professional experience. Ensure that all fundraising activities are compliant with charity law and best practices. Utilise CRM systems to efficiently manage donor and supporter data. Work in partnership with Bristol Sport Foundation to maximise joint fundraising projects, including planning, recruiting and delivering on all events. You will have: Experience in fundraising, sponsorship, or corporate partnerships (charity or sports sector desirable). Knowledge of event planning and supporter engagement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Confident presenting and delivering pitches or speaking at events. A proactive, enthusiastic and community-focused approach. Experience using fundraising platforms and CRM systems (desirable).
