Position Summary: We are looking for a Vehicle Sprayer/Painter to join our workshop in Hoddesdon. As a Painter/Sprayer, you will need to be motivated, have a keen eye for detail, take a proactive approach to work and show flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards, adhering to company policies, and ensuring safety at all times. We are a busy bodyshop that carries out repairs on a wide range of vehicles, from cars to tractor units and trailers. Therefore, you must be comfortable with preparing, painting, and spraying both smaller vehicles and large commercial vehicles, adapting your approach as required. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Painting and Spraying: Prepare surfaces and apply paint or coatings using various techniques and tools to achieve high-quality finishes. Surface Preparation: Carry out sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure surfaces are ready for painting. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, clean, and ensure proper functioning of all painting and spraying equipment. Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets company and client standards. Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and tasks, including overtime or adjusted hours when required to meet project deadlines. Proactive Work Ethic: Identify and address issues or inefficiencies, ensuring continuous improvement in processes. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion. Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and workplace cleanliness. KEY COMPETENCIES Personal Qualities Proven experience in painting and spraying Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work. The ability to work independently and proactively identify solutions. Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands and schedules. Knowledge of painting/spraying tools, techniques, and safety standards. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Annual salary of 45,000 depending on experience A 40-hour working week - Monday to Friday 7am-4pm 29 days annual leave plus 3 bank holidays (New Years Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Must be able to work Bank Holidays. An optional pension that begins after 3 months

We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our growing support team at the head office in Hoddesdon. The team works hard in a very fast paced industry to make sure that the customer is always happy with the repairs to their vehicle. It is a fun and friendly team who work closely to ensure that the jobs are carried out thoroughly. Key Responsibilities: Managing and maintaining the aged payables ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of queries Processing supplier invoices and credit notes efficiently using Xero and Hubdoc Managing multiple supplier accounts, building strong relationships, and ensuring timely payments Performing regular supplier account reconciliations to maintain accurate records Maintaining and reconciling intercompany transactions Processing supplier payments in line with agreed terms and company policies Updating and maintaining reports in Excel Requirements: Proven experience in a purchase ledger or similar accounts payable role Strong working knowledge of Xero and Hubdoc Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to update and manage financial reports High attention to detail with strong organisational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving What we can offer you: Monday to Friday 7am-4pm 29 days annual leave plus 3 bank holidays (New Years Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day) Pension after 3 months service Supportive and friendly working environment
