Business Unit: Chief Operating Office Salary range: £42,000 - £47,000 Location: UK Hybrid - With quarterly travel to a local hub. Contract type: 12 month FTC Our Team You'll be responsible for a wide range of activities across Change & Delivery, collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues, so as you can imagine, no two days are the same. You will work closely with the Delivery Teams to ensure the individual Programme and Projects have quality governance including project status, milestones, capabilities, risks, issues and dependencies. What you'll be doing Facilitate and attend key senior management Governance Forums. Build packs and proactively manage actions/decisions through to closure. Work in partnership with the programme & delivery teams, offering guidance to ensure the programmes are adhering to Value Delivery Framework. Lead and drive governance and reporting process improvements to streamline and simplify for users, working closely with the 3 lines of defence. Identification of knowledge gaps and training opportunities and lead the resolution alongside other PMO teams. Lead trend analysis activity across the full project life cycle working with multiple stakeholders e.g. 1st and 2nd line of defence. We'd love you to have: PMO and/or Project delivery experience, using recognised methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, Prince 2 etc) Jira experience, working with project data including RAID, capabilities, and status reporting Day to day task management experience Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail. Raising SACM awareness and capability (knowledge, skills and competence) of all colleagues across through strategic and focussed communication activities. We need you to have Strong leadership and experience of People Leading at various levels with a proven track record in the development of staff. Understanding of commercial and people challenges and understanding of the underlying principles of continuous improvement and driving efficiencies. Excellent problem solving skills and ability to analyse information appropriately. Effective change management ability and a sound understanding of dealing with change in large organisations.
