Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and control functions. This critical role will ensure our processes and products meet stringent industry standards and customer requirements, while supporting our strategic goals around quality excellence and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, AS9100, Oversee all quality-related functions, including inspection, testing, documentation, and compliance across production. Lead internal and external audits (customer, certification, and regulatory). Act as the primary contact for quality matters with customers and regulatory bodies. Develop and manage quality KPIs, and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation using tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is embedded at all stages. Manage the quality team including inspectors, engineers Support supplier quality management and conduct supplier audits as required. Requirements Proven experience as a Quality Manager within precision engineering, preferably in the automotive, aerospace, or defence industries. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations (ISO 9001, AS9100) Demonstrated experience leading audits, managing non-conformance, and implementing CAPA processes. Familiarity with measurement techniques, CMM, and high-spec inspection equipment. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). Certified Lead Auditor (desirable). Our client are a market leading CNC manufacturer specialising within the Aerospace and Automotive industries. Due to company expansion our client are looking to expand their night shift team. Key Responsibilities: Set and operate fixed head or sliding head machines First off inspection Changing tooling, fixtures and jigs Oversee the whole cycle run of the CNC machines Required Experience: Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Ability to set and operate CNC machines Experience working night shift CADCAM experience (Desirable) Experience with either Star, Citizen or Miyano machines (Desirable) Hours of work: Monday - Friday: 10pm - 6am (can be flexible) This is a great opportunity for a machinist to join a growing team If you feel you are the right candidate for the role, apply now!
