The role is for one day per week, shared between Francis Holland Sloane Square (Senior School) and Francis Holland Prep School. The successful candidate will deliver individual cello lessons of 30 minutes' duration throughout the school day, and will coach at least one chamber ensemble, as well as co-lead the Preparatory String Group. The key function of the Cover Supervisor is to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a calm, purposeful learning environment in which pupils remain engaged and on task. When there are no lessons requiring cover, Cover Supervisors are expected to use their initiative to support teaching and learning activities across the school and contribute positively to day-to-day school operations. The working pattern of this role will be 8:00 to 4:30pm Monday to Friday during Term Time.
