We're looking for a Database Manager. Data sits at the heart of our ambitious organisational strategy. Greater understanding of our organisational data supports us to deliver meaningful, high-quality engagement with our audiences and unlock deeper understanding to drive impact, as we work to find cures for type 1 diabetes and support the community to live well until that day comes. Acting as the organisation's subject matter expert for CRM, you will provide expert guidance to colleagues and drive best practice in data management. You'll be responsible for the ongoing development, optimisation, and governance of the organisation's CRM, ensuring supporter data is accurate, accessible, secure, and effectively used to support fundraising, engagement, and operational objectives. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data at Breakthrough T1D, establishing strong foundations for effective data management, governance and operational excellence across the organisation Sitting within the Supporter Marketing and Experience team, you'll work closely with colleagues across Fundraising and Engagement, Digital, Brand, Finance, IT and Supporter Care to ensure data sits at the heart of our decisions. Experience required Experience managing and administering SQL databases within a charity or fundraising environment and ideally experience using Donorfy. Experience leading data quality and data cleansing initiatives. Experience developing and implementing data governance processes and standards. Experience reviewing and improving business processes, including automation and workflow design. Experience managing data imports, exports and integrations between systems. You ll have a track record in delivering consistent, high quality content across a range of mediums, including print, website, graphics and video. You ll also help bring the voices of the T1D community to the forefront by sharing stories, insights, and experiences across our digital channels. Experience required Strong background in creating dynamic and impactful digital content Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to tailor tone for different audiences. Solid understanding of digital platforms, especially websites and social media. Confident using a range of tools to create and publish multimedia content such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or content scheduling platforms The ability to gather and tell personal stories in a sensitive, creative and engaging way. Experience of working collaboratively with colleagues, partners, or lived-experience voices. Confidence and flexibility in managing multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
