The Job As a Kitchen Porter, you will work across all our kitchen areas, carrying out plate wash duties as well as general kitchen cleaning duties to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout. Key Responsibilities Clean all kitchen equipment, pots etc to ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained. Clean kitchen as laid down in the daily and weekly cleaning schedules to include surfaces, floors, working surfaces, ovens etc. Ensure all waste and food bins are emptied regularly throughout the day. On a rota basis, clean the Staff Canteen twice daily and as requested. Work with colleagues to reduce energy costs and consumable waste. Assist in any other duties as required. What we are looking for Reliable and good timekeeper. High standard of personal hygiene. Flexible attitude to duties. A team player. Ability to carry out the manual handling requirements of the role.
