Grounds Maintenance Operative Salary 30,000 to 35,000 Wokingham, Berkshire Permanent This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday 40 hours per week which means that you will be paid all year and for holidays. Our client is a leading Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance company who look after the grounds of a mixed range of private and commercial clients from municipal parks and gardens to schools, universities and commercial properties. The Job: Each GM Team is responsible for ensuring that the sites assigned to them are maintained to the highest standards. You will have a reasonable knowledge of gardening practices and regular duties will centre on the maintenance of grassed areas, mowing, hedge cutting, strimming, plant care, pruning and spraying. You will also be involved in some planting, fencing and small tree works. You will also assist with the Winter Gritting Program BUT this is paid at double time in addition to the salary. You will ensure that you have the correct uniform and PPE and that the vehicles and machinery that you use are in good order and safe to operate. The Person: You will need a driving licence to be considered for this position. Ideally at least one years previous experience in Landscaping A broad range of Landscaping skills would be extremely useful. PA1 and PA6 Certificate, a Chainsaw ticket and a Trailer Licence would be an advantage.

You will have full responsibility for maintaining the company s Living Walls and Urban Greening Installations to the highest standard and will often be Front of House , communicating with the client and representing the company. The Company: Our client is a leading installer of Living Walls and green solutions for urban environments. They currently employ over 100 staff in their head office, nursery and in the field, operating from a fleet of vehicles servicing projects across the UK. The Job: As a Horticultural Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining Living Walls at a number of the companies most prestigious sites in Central London and across the South.
