Main job: Carry out groundwork tasks involving concrete, flagging, and kerbing on construction sites, including preparing bases, laying surfaces, and finishing. Key Responsibilities 1. Concrete work: Lay, finish, and cure concrete for paths, slabs, foundations 2. Flagging: Lay paving slabs, blocks, and natural stone to patterns 3. Kerbing: Install kerb stones, edgings, and channels 4. Preparation: Excavate, level, and compact bases 5. Safety: Follow site rules, wear PPE, report hazards 6. Teamwork: Work with supervisors, engineers, and other trades Requirements - NVQ level 2 ground works - Quals: CSCS card (labourer).
