My client, a leading house builder, are currently seeking a Technical Coordinator. The role will be to support the technical manager in the management and overseeing of technical matters across multiple projects from conception to completion Role Includes: Oversee all technical aspects across multiple projects of varying complexity Manage the design process to secure accurate and comprehensive sets of information from the outset including management tendering and appointment of design consultants Procurement and management of utilities / services and warranties and management of fees budget Discharge of planning & building regulation conditions Validating conveyance plans and easements Managing and satisfying regulatory bodies such as Planning, Building Control, and the Fire Brigade Control and issue of site information and drawings Liaise with the Commercial department to ensure all relevant orders are in place and budgets / cost to complete are accurate Work with the site and sales teams to provide support as necessary Experience Experience, Qualifications and Skills Architectural drawing experience Brown and green-field housing experience Exposure to medium-rise complex developments Experience and knowledge of building regulations and current NHBC standards is desirable Experience working as a coordinator / within a technical function for a volume house builder is desirable

My client, a growing house builder, are seeking a Quantity Surveyor. As Quantity Surveyor, you will: Place contracts for all relevant subcontractor work on their developments Prepare subcontract enquiries, send out for pricing and ensure that contracts are placed in line with the build programme Produce a detailed trade specific scope of works and qualification notes for all enquiry documentation Analyse subcontractor quotes and form a recommendation on who to appoint Ensure standard terms and conditions are agreed with all orders/contracts placed Manage subcontractor payments Process stage payments to subcontractors when due Ensure all contra charges are managed Carry out checks for UTR status of subcontractors Review and process variations in accordance with terms and conditions Work in partnership with other teams to ensure key dates for the build programme are achieved Check drawings to ensure the proposals are practical and commercially viable Regularly attend project meetings on site Provide cost advice for the sales team Produce regular reporting Compile full cost reports for each development, to include services, materials, sub-contract and prelim costs Skills and Qualifications Strong experience in a similar surveying role within a residential house builder Excellent numerical skills with strong attention to detail Great team player Good communication skills Organised and able to work well in a busy team

My client, a growing house builder, are currently seeking a Land Buyer/ Land Manager. The Land Buyer/ Land Manager will identify and manage land acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in land acquisition for residential development, strong commercial awareness, and excellent negotiation skills. The role will entail supporting and working closely with Land and Development Managers as they appraise and manage potential new sites for acquisition, and to also identify further new sites yourself for the company to consider as future residential development projects. This will include: - general assistance and administration in preparation of land bids. - visiting potential sites and attending land meetings and reporting on these as required. - assisting with legal & planning matters and liaising with external consultants (such as solicitors, planning consultants, architects) and other internal departments and staff. You will be a confident IT user, have good written and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
